Baby, Toddler and children classes at Junipers Creative Play. Activities include sensory discovery, music, art, craft, singing, messy play, dance and much much more. Parent and child baby and toddler classes for children aged 3 months to five years. Classes are run by a qualified school teacher. The baby and toddler classes give children the whole creative and sensory experience by providing stimulating and interactive sessions which are age appropriate and cover the foundation stage objectives. It incorporates all the areas of creative development and children take part in activities that include sensory discovery, music, art, craft, singing, messy play, dance and much much more all in a controlled environment. We aim to provide a positive experience for both parents and children, giving parents the opportunity to attend structured classes with other parents all in a nurturing environment. Parent-child interaction is essential in all the weekly classes but as the children get older an element of independence is also encouraged. Classes are led by Jean Turvey, a qualified school teacher and mother who has specialised in the early years sector and managed a large Nursery at a primary school. Her knowledge of this sector has been instrumental in the development of these programs. Junipers offers three levels for children aged three months to four years and also a siblings class for the under fives. Classes are booked in 6 or 10 week blocks. The children remain at one level until they are the right age to progress to the next level. The classes all last 45 minutes and are taught to child-parent pairs in small groups of maximum 12. The Levels are: <a href="baby_toddler_classes.html" mce_href="baby_toddler_classes.html" target="mainFrame">Bubble Berries Baby Class</a>(3 - 11 months) 45 Minutes These sessions are fun for both parent and baby as they discover their environment and a great way to meet other parents. <a href="baby_toddler_classes.html" mce_href="baby_toddler_classes.html" target="mainFrame">Rainbow Berries Toddler Class </a>(11 - 22 months) 45 Minutes The Rainbow Berries discover their senses exploring all kinds of messy play, for example finger painting and goo (with no worries about the mess that there might be at home!). They also have the crucial free roaming time when they can explore a variety of hands on activities. <a href="baby_toddler_classes.html" mce_href="baby_toddler_classes.html" target="mainFrame">Dazzle Berries Children's Class</a>(22 months - 4 years) 45 Minutes They are further encouraged to join in with the music and singing parts of the classes and the imaginative dance at the end of the class is a great way to release some energy. Each class contains singing, dancing, music and at least two focused activities. Examples of the activities e.g. messy play activity, large scale painting and creating 3D models. <a href="baby_toddler_classes.html" mce_href="baby_toddler_classes.html" target="mainFrame">Twinkle Berries Siblings Class</a>(Siblings Class: 1 years to 5 years) 45 minutes Twinkle Berries is for siblings of two different ages. It incorporates elements of all the levels and each week all the children take part in singing, dancing and music. Siblings aged 0-12 months can attend for free as spectators to the Dazzle Berries class. But please note the classes will be aimed only at the older child with whom parent and child interaction will also be crucial to the fun experience.
