Junipers really does offer babies to preschoolers everything creative in one class.  Having recently moved to the area and following the success of the classes in London, I am now running classes in East Grafton near Marlborough/Hungerford/Pewsey and Potterne near Devizes.

The babies, toddlers and children take part in an exciting range of stimulating and sensory experiences including music, singing, exploring special sensory toys, very messy play, art, craft and dance.  All the activities are designed to complement child development and are fun for parent and child. Come and make lots of mess without the worry of tidying up at home.

The structured and well planned activitIes are tailored to age and cover objectives set out in the governments Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. Classes are led by me, Jean Turvey, a trained primary school teacher and mum who specialised in early years.

There are 3 different aged levels:  Bubble Berries (4 - 11 months), Rainbow Berries (11 - 22 months) and Dazzle Berries (22 months -preschoolers).

Classes include:

Music, Movement and Singing

We sing all kinds of songs including traditional nursery rhymes and fun new tunes to keep everyone interested. The songs are full of lovely actions that make babies giggle and older children get involved. Songs, dance and music run in 6 week cycles to ensure that everyone benefits from the essential repetition which builds confidence. Bubble Berries and Rainbow Berries take part in active songs with movements, as do Dazzle Berries but they also have the chance to dance.

Sensory Discovery and Messy Play

The babies and children have the chance to play with all kinds of interesting sensory toys including puppets, ball pools, musical instruments, fantastic sensory balls and much more. The Rainbow Berries and Dazzle Berries also get to explore really messy play activities from sand to gooey porridge. Even the babies in Bubble Berries can have a splash about in peppermint smelling water.

Art and Crafts

Each week the children in Rainbow Berries and Dazzle Berries also enjoy making all kinds of creations - giant paintings, puppets, collage, gluing, hand prints, play dough and much much more.
